Introduction
This policy sets out the measures that we will take to ensure equal pay for all our workforce.
The policy does not form part of your contract of employment and we reserve the right to amend it at any time.
Legal Provisions
Under the equal pay provisions, there is a legal right for men and women to receive equal pay for:
- the same or broadly similar work;
- work rated as equivalent under a job evaluation study; or
- work of equal value.
You have a right to equal pay regardless of your length of service and whether you have a full-time, part-time, fixed-term, zero hours or casual contract.
The equal pay provisions apply to all contractual terms and conditions, including terms related to your basic pay, overtime pay, sick pay, holiday pay and other benefits. This also includes another additional benefits outlined by the company in the Employee Handbook
Our Commitment

Pay and reward decisions will be based solely on objective, job-related criteria, such as:
- Skills, experience, and qualifications;
- Level of responsibility and performance;
- Effort, working conditions, and contribution;

To ensure a fair and transparent pay system we will:
- carry out [annual/two-yearly] equal pay [reviews/audits] for all members of staff;
- ensure that we address any pay disparities that may arise;
- Internal monitoring occurs to ensure fairness and consistency
- provide regular equal pay training for all managers and staff members who are involved in pay reviews;
- evaluate job roles and pay grades to ensure fairness
- monitor our job role evaluation scheme and pay grading structure to ensure it remains fair and robust;
- take appropriate action to resolve any cases of unequal pay;
- be clear with you about how your pay and discretionary bonus has been determined during each salary review; and
- treat all complaints in relation to unequal pay as a priority.

Equal pay [reviews/audits]
Following any equal pay [review/audit], we will review the findings and share the results with employees affected by the review. Employees may raise any queries with the HR Manager.

Data protection
We will process any data collected during pay audits, job evaluations and the preparation of gender pay gap reports in accordance with applicable laws.
Policy review
We will review this policy and its effectiveness on a regular basis.
