The Danny Bailey fundraising match took place on Friday, 11 April 2025, and proved to be an incredibly powerful and emotional success for the entire football community. Connect Property proudly served as the main sponsor for the evening, where all funds raised were to support Danny in accessing specialised medical treatment. 

Danny Bailey, a respected former professional footballer, enjoyed a notable career in the KOPA League, has been privately battling prostate cancer for two years, with recent tests unfortunately confirming the disease had advanced to stage 4. In response, the football and local communities united with unwavering passion and determination to give Danny every possible opportunity in his fight.

The funds raised are being directed toward treatment at a renowned clinic in the USA, along with complementary alternative therapies, essential equipment, and supplements. Danny remains under the excellent care of his oncology team, responding positively so far and preparing for the next phase of his journey.
